Checklist for the Client who got transferred :

1stSTEP

  1. Fixed up a House at Transferred City with Good water facility and other utilities as per your
    requirement.

  2. Find out a suitable school/college for your children near your house and try to get admission form
    in advance.

2ndSTEP (PREDEPARTURE)

  1. Call packers & Movers for Quotation for shifting of your house hold goods.
  2. Finalize the Date of Packing & Lifting with packers.
  3. Negotiate the rates and terms & condition with packers.
  4. Keep minimum 25% freight to pay (after delivery) of packers to get good service at the time of delivery.
  5. Book your consignment at carriers risk only.
  6. Inform friends and relatives the date finalize for packing & moving.
  7. Disconnection of gas connection, telephone & others utilities services and collect deposit if any.
  8. Prepare and keep your self free for having dinner with friends and relatives as you will be invited by those near and dear.
  9. Take transfer certificate from school/college.
  10. Take NOC form RTO for vehicles.
  11. Transferred you bank account.
  12. Inform postal department / Neighbour regarding your new address.
  13. Keep traveler cheque/ticket/credit card/valuable jewellery in convenient place for easy access.
  14. Take declaration certificate in five copies from your office for road transportation of your house hold goods.
  15. Take xerox copy of RC books & insurance copy in case of car/scooter/TPT.
  16. Keep yourself free to be with packing team while the job is on.
  17. Empty and defrost refrigerator 10 hours before packing.
  18. Ask super visor of packing company to make rough & fresh packing list with maximum details of items packing in cartoon box.
  19. Before leaving home check that all the tapes, switches, windows are closed.
  20. Collect advance deposit from house owner.

3rd STEP (DESTINATION)

  1. Be present at the time when your shipment arrives at your doorsteps.
  2. Check condition of all the items received and make a note in writing if any item are missing as well as damaged.
  3. Arrange for telephone and gas connection .
  4. Check your bank account.
  5. Arrange for house maid, milkman, newspaper, vendor etc.
  6. Introduce yourself to the neighbour.
  7. Start collecting important contact number.
  8. Try for the admission of your children in school/college.
